The United States Navy will continue testing bombs at a range within the Ocala National Forest later this week after taking a short break.

Inert bomb testing will resume at the Pinecastle Range Complex within the forest on Monday, October 6, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Testing will take place again on Tuesday, October 7, from 9:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and again from 4:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

On Wednesday, October 8, testing will take place from 9:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Finally, testing will take place on Thursday, October 9, from 2:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.

During bombing periods, wildlife may be temporarily displaced.

“Use extra caution when driving through the Ocala National Forest and surrounding areas. Secure any items around your residence that could attract wildlife,” reads a statement from the Navy.
