An Ocala church is partnering with a faith-based nonprofit to provide free groceries, hot meals, children’s shoes, health screenings, and access to local resources this weekend.
The Convoy of Hope will partner with the Marion County Children’s Alliance and Revo Church for the event on Saturday, November 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will be hosted at the church, which is located at 3140 SW 26th Street in Ocala.
The event will free groceries, lunch, children’s shoes, a Kid’s Zone, health screenings, and access to local resources.
In a statement posted to social media, the church shared that it hopes to provide families, single parents, and anyone in need across the city with “encouragement, care, and practical support.”
