To the Editor:
The Publix at Canopy Oaks has so many “golf cart only” spots right in front of the entrance. The handicap spots are a row over and one third of spaces than golf carts.
My father is 94, and a World War II veteran. He has a handicap parking permit and plate.
If I am lucky enough to find a handicap space, I still have to go into store and bring an electric cart to him.
I do not understand how the money and privileges of On Top of the World became more important than our veterans.
