A 37-year-old woman was arrested in Ocala after a police officer allegedly saw her walking on a sidewalk with no pants on.

On Sunday, November 16, 2025, an Ocala Police Department officer was in a parked patrol vehicle, near the 2900 block of E Highway 40, when a woman was observed walking on the sidewalk. The officer noted in the arrest report that the woman’s underwear was “around her knees, exposing her buttock and vagina area.”

The woman was later identified as Kendra Ann Jones.

The report further stated that Jones was “actively drinking from a liquor bottle” that was wrapped in a plastic bag. The officer made contact with Jones and seized the 375-milliliter bottle of “Flash Point,” observing that approximately 75% of the liquid inside had already been consumed.

When the officer attempted to speak with Jones, she allegedly became “combative,” and she was detained in handcuffs.

Jones was placed under arrest and booked into Marion County Jail, where she remains in custody. Her bond has been set at $5,000, and she is facing the following charges: exposure of sexual organs and public consumption in violation of a city ordinance.

Marion County Court records show that Jones is being represented by a public defender. She has entered a written plea of “not guilty,” and she is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
