I think Ocala has plenty of space for its first Trader Joe’s

To the Editor:

I was amazed to learn that there was not a Trader Joes store closer to Ocala than the one in Gainesville.

Marion County over the past 5 years is one of the fastest growing areas in the state. There is plenty of land available both for new construction or repurposing a closed store for use.

In the next two years, there will be the second largest Buc-ee’s in Ocala. A new Home Depot and Target store.

Yes, we are the land of cow and horse farms, but new developments are also popping up all over this county.

A Trader Joe’s would do well with the influx of so many new residents coming here from other states who know the value of a Trader Joe’s.
