A former Mayor of Miami Beach who is listed over 600 times in the Epstein Library and who Ghislaine Maxwell called a “very good friend” for allegedly helping her develop a relationship with President Bill Clinton, has just purchased a 26.68-acre parcel of land in south Ocala for $2 million.
On January 27, 2026, LM Ocala Land Holdings, LLC, purchased the property located at the northwest corner of the signalized intersection of SE Highway 484 and S Highway 475, from Nandkumar Karve, Homerun Realty LLC, and KWHP Investments, LLC for $2,000,000.
State corporate records show that LM Ocala Land Holdings, which was established on December 31, 2025, is owned by Philip Levine of Miami Beach and Jordan B. Morgan.
Morgan lists an address with Morgan & Morgan P.A., the large law firm based in downtown Orlando.
The address listed for Levine matches that of the former campaign office for the mayor. Levine, who founded the Baron Corp over 25 years ago, served two terms as Mayor of Miami Beach from 2013 to 2017. He was also a democratic candidate in the 2018 Florida gubernatorial election.
On January 30, three days after Levine completed the purchase of the property in Ocala, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) released new videos, images, and text related to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was signed into law by President Trump on November 19, 2025.
A search of “Philip Levine” in the DOJ’s full Epstein Library currently produces 626 results. Ocala-News.com has only had time to review a fraction of the documents that cited Levine, with items dating back as far as 2001.
Much of the correspondence includes promotional emails that were sent from Levine’s political campaign. Some of the earliest correspondence was related to multiple FedEx deliveries from Epstein and Maxwell to “Philip Levine” in 2001. The addresses on those packages were redacted.
However, several other emails between Levine and Maxwell suggest the individuals shared a friendly relationship with one another.
In one email exchange in 2004, the two talk about a potential real estate sale. When Maxwell asks if she can “come and stay” the night, Levine responds as follows:
“I am boating all day then my niece is staying over tonight with some of her girlfriends but you are more than welcome to stay over. They will be in cabana. I have my little Columbiana tonight as I am leaving tomorrow to LA. Call you in a bit.”
One forwarded email from “G. Max” included the subject “Ever wondered what it would be like if Dear Abby were a man?” That was followed by several questions with sexual undertones.
To date, the government has released close to 3.5 million pages in compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, according to a release from the DOJ. Ocala-News.com will publish a follow-up report with additional details after we have reviewed more of the hundreds of documents associated with Levine.
Maxwell was found guilty in 2021 of child sex trafficking and other charges. She is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence. Epstein was reported dead in August 2019.
Levine offered comment to the New York Times following Epstein’s death in 2019, saying he had met Epstein “one, two, or three times, but briefly, maybe over 15 years ago at events.” At the time, he also questioned whether he had ever given Epstein his “full contact” information.
According to a report in the Miami New Times, Maxwell referred to Levine as her “very good friend” who was the reason she became friendly with former President Bill Clinton after he left office.
The property that Levine is purchasing in Ocala is situated just two miles east of I-75. The full 26.68 acres is currently zoned A-1. According to an online real estate listing, approximately 6 acres at the hard corner are designated for use as a “Rural Activity Center Commercial,” offering potential for high-volume retail development.
The site features 830 feet of frontage along Hwy 484 and the land is situated approximately two miles south of the Florida Horse Park and Greenways. It currently includes an existing residential well.
