Ocala-News.com has reviewed 435 emails sent between Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and millionaire Philip Levine, a former Mayor of Miami Beach who purchased an 87-acre horse farm in Ocala for $10.5 million last year, with much of the correspondence detailing an intimate relationship spanning nearly two decades.
Last year, Levine, who is the founder, president, and CEO of Royal Media Partners, completed the acquisition of a $10.5 million equestrian estate located at 11800 S Highway 475 in Ocala.
The major residential purchase was followed by Levine’s more recent $2 million purchase of a commercial parcel at the corner of SE Highway 484 and S Highway 475. That site is situated approximately two miles south of the large estate.
According to a listing in 2024, the 86.86-acre property that Levine acquired features a 10,000-square-foot home, a 1,200-square-foot “game house,” a 30,000-square-foot covered riding arena, a lighted pickleball court, a train station with an animated track, a basketball court, and a helicopter pad, among other amenities.

Before Levine’s recent activity in the Marion County real estate market, the former mayor spent years establishing himself in South Florida before vying to become the Democratic Party’s nominee for Florida Governor in 2018.
Ocala-News.com has reviewed hundreds of documents from the United State Department of Justice’s Epstein Library between 2001 and 2018, when Epstein last emailed Levine during his run for governor. These documents highlight an extensive and intimate relationship between Levine and Epstein, Maxwell, and several other high-profile figures.
The relationship and conversation between the individuals also persisted long after Epstein’s initial legal troubles in 2008.
In a June 2010 exchange regarding a shared contact, Epstein told Levine, “i called him and told him what a mensch you are.”

In a July 2010 email, Levine expressed that he was “happy that everything has come to a positive ending” for the financier during the “tough times” that he incurred during and after his incarceration in 2009.
“You are a great guy and I know all good things will come to you going forward,” Levine wrote, signing off as “Your friend, Philip.” In other exchanges, Levine reached out to Epstein to coordinate meetings, asking to “see you sometime.”

There were multiple other messages between the individuals dating back to 2001, including a series of packages that were shipped overnight to Levine by Epstein and Maxwell between 2001 and 2003.
In 2013, Epstein responded to one of Levine’s automated campaign emails while Levine was running for Mayor of Miami Beach. In the email, Epstein asked if he could contribute.
“I would like to contribute to the campaign,, how do i do it?” reads the message from Epstein to Levine.

The last recorded email correspondence sent by Epstein to Levine came in 2018 and it was similar to the message he sent in 2013.
In the 2018 email, Epstein refers to his “colorful past” as possibly preventing him from contributing to Levine’s campaign for Florida Governor. The email was also sent in response to an automated gubernatorial campaign email:

Although his conversations with Epstein were generally innocuous, Levine’s email correspondence with Maxwell was far more graphic and sexual in nature.
The documents also show Maxwell frequently offered to arrange meetings between the former Mayor, other women, and Maxwell herself.
In one October 2001 exchange, Maxwell reached out to Levine to see if he would like to meet with “Lindsay Kaines.” Maxwell asks if Levine would like to call “pre” or “post” Levine’s “breakfast” with the woman.
Levine then tells Maxwell to inform the mutual acquaintance that “the rumor is that I am hung like a horse…not a rumor!!!” Maxwell replies that she likes to “verify all info” she gives out.

Maxwell then follows up with a message indicating that she relayed the message and that the woman would “like to see it at breakfast.” Maxwell concludes the transmission by suggesting the woman “take pictorial evidence.”

In other messages, Levine referred to himself by the nickname “Polyp” and thanked “Gilligan” (a nickname for Maxwell) for her “warm and generous hospitality.”

There are dozens of other documents that detail the nature of the relationship between Levine and Epstein, Maxwell, and others.
In our next report on this multi-part series, we will establish a timeline of the documents that shed light on Levine’s relationships through Epstein and Maxwell with some of the most high-profile figures in the world, including former President Bill Clinton and Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York.
