To the Editor:
The recent development that the former Belleview Pizza location is to become a cannabis dispensary is sad to hear.
The fact that it is this location, directly across from Belleview City Hall on the city’s most traveled thoroughfare, and next door to a smoke shop, signals a striking erosion of values.
The lack of leadership and vision among the government officials representing the City of Belleview is on full display.
These entrenched politicians are likely proud of these examples of the “business friendly” climate their policies promote. The community deserves a more “family friendly” emphasis from this group.
