Elicia B. Canfield died unexpectedly at home on April 13, 2026. She was born at Ft. Rucker, Al. on March 19, 1976.
She was pre-deceased by her father, George W. (Buzz) Canfield, Jr. and is survived by her mother. Andrea Diane Scott, her husband, James Godsey. Jr., her brother, Dustin Canfield, her children Austin (Rhiannon) Brooks, Nathaniel Rhys, and Eliana Diane Godsey, her grandchildren, Asher and Annley Brooks.
She graduated from Gaither High School in 1994, in Tampa, Florida, and worked in the hospitality industry. She was a very loving, and spiritual woman who loved God, her family, and was a member of Dunnellon Community Church.
She had a heart for all animals and was affectionately referred to as Grandma Turtle by her grandchildren. Her desire was to always be cremated and placed in the Gulf.
