The Ocala Police Department has released surveillance photos of multiple individuals wanted for questioning in connection with an altercation that led to the emergency closure of the Paddock Mall on Sunday afternoon.
The individuals are considered persons of interest in the May 10 incident at the mall (3100 SW College Road).
The altercation, which occurred between two people, was originally reported to law enforcement as a possible shooting on Sunday.

The Ocala Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office conducted a thorough search of the premises and found no evidence that any shots had been discharged and no injuries were reported.
However, the investigation later clarified that one individual involved in the dispute had brandished a firearm.
Although authorities initially hoped to resume normal operations quickly, officials ultimately decided to keep the mall closed for the remainder of the business day. No arrests had been made as of Sunday evening.

The Ocala Police Department is now asking for the public’s help to identify the people captured in the surveillance images.
Anyone with information on the identities of these individuals is encouraged to contact Detective Camacho at 352-369-7000.
