To the Editor:
There is a very real lack of handicap parking spots around the square in downtown Ocala. Handicap folks cannot find a space, so they just leave and go somewhere else.
Parking garages do them no good if they cannot walk very well.
Isn’t there a federal law that states how many handicap spaces are to designated in areas of retail stores and restaurants?
Maybe the city should look into this problem.
