The City of Ocala will host a free, outdoor music festival this weekend that will feature a collection of funk and soul music groups, as well as bounce houses and outdoor games.
The Rhythm Fest will take place on Saturday, May 30, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Webb Field, which is located at 1501 W. Silver Springs Blvd in Ocala.
The festival will feature a musical lineup headlined by funk and soul group The Family Stone. Additional performances will include gospel by The Sensational Barnes Brothers and jazz fusion from Pharaohs of Funk, among others.
Attendees may participate in free activities including bounce houses, a rock wall, and outdoor games. Local food trucks will also be on site serving various meals and desserts.
The city advises guests to bring lawn chairs or blankets, as seating is not provided. Coolers, glass, and alcohol are strictly prohibited on the festival grounds.
