To the Editor:
Ocala is growing and we need more stores in the southwest part of the city because it is too far to drive up SW College Road.
With the gas being so expensive and lots of people in this area, for us that live in Marion Oaks, we can’t afford to go shopping that way.
It would be really nice if we had another mall close by, in the area where they are building a new Publix and a new Walmart.
We need Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Burlington, Dunkin’ Donuts, an ice cream shop, a Starbucks, and a big mall close by.
It is growing really fast in Ocala, especially going towards I-75, it’s ridiculous that SW Hwy 484 has too much traffic as well.
