David Ronald Owens, age 60, passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, at his home in Ocala, Florida. David was born December 4, 1965, in Anderson County, TN. He was raised alongside his identical twin in Oliver Springs, TN. David graduated from Oliver Springs High School in 1984 and worked 38 years in the aerospace industry as an NDT Technician Level 2 with Boeing, Standard Aero, and Lockheed Martin. David enjoyed listening to many different genres of music, especially the 80’s. He was an avid Tennessee VOLS fan and loved being with family and friends.
David is preceded in death by his parents, David Donald and Daisy Faye Owens and by infant sister, Robin Alisha Owens. David is survived by his children: Brandon David Owens (son) and fiancé Ashlea Michelle. Chloe Alisha Cooper (daughter) and husband Preston Cooper. Also, by brother Michael Donald Owens and wife Traci of Ocala, Florida. Grandchildren: June Pope, Nathaniel Burgess, Nora Cooper, Zeke Cooper, Jonathan Cox, Alexis Cox, and Chayna Phillips. He also leaves an uncle, several aunts and many cousins, nephews and nieces along with many dear friends.
David would want everyone to rejoice and be mindful of this passage:
