Linda Frances Sheridan, 78, of Ocala, Florida, passed away surrounded by her family on June 17, 2026, in Ocala, Florida.
Linda was born in Hartford, Connecticut, to Hedwig Grill and Henry Sevene on September 26, 1947 She went to high school at Wethersfield High School and later went on to earn her GED.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Wynmoor Community Council for many years until retirement. She enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, spending time with her granddaughters, and socializing with friends.
Linda is survived by her sister, JoAnne McGonnell; her two sons, Matthew and Peter Sheridan; her daughter-in-law, Elaine Sheridan; her niece, Heather Soffer; and her two granddaughters, Emma and Leah Sheridan.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Hedwig Grill; her father, Henry Sevene; her brother-in-law Richard McGonnell; and her nephew, Michael McGonnell.
A private memorial service will be held with immediate family in Roswell, Georgia.
Linda found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters.
Her love, guidance, and warmth will remain a lasting part of their lives, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
