The community of Dunnellon will host its Boomtown Blast Independence Day celebration this weekend.
The event will be held on Saturday, July 4, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Dunnellon High School, which is located at 10055 SW 180th Avenue Road in Dunnellon.
The event will feature live music, food trucks, and children’s activities including a foam pit, bounce houses, and a touch a truck display.
Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m. Organizers prohibit outside food, drinks, and alcohol. Additionally, attendees may not place lawn chairs or tents on the football field, blankets are welcome.
