Roy James Jr., of Silver Springs, Florida, passed away on July 1, 2026, at the age of 73.
Roy was born on April 21, 1953, in Clovis, New Mexico. He dedicated his life to serving both his country and his faith.
Roy proudly served in the United States Army before answering a higher calling in ministry. He devoted many years to serving through SheepGate Ministries, Inc., where he faithfully shared God’s love and compassion with those around him.
Roy had a deep passion for God and for his country. He was known for his unwavering faith, kind heart, and commitment to helping others. His life was one of service, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and steadfast belief that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
He was married to the love of his life, Debbie Linda James, on November 14, 2003. Together they shared many cherished years filled with faith, love, and family.
Roy is survived by his daughter, Angela James; his beloved grandchildren, Aaliyah James, Alexis James, and Shawn James; and his siblings, Jesse James and Kathrin James. He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank James.
Roy will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched through his ministry, generosity, and unwavering faith. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
