Fort King National Historic Landmark in Ocala is hosting Pioneer Pals Tykes at the Fort, a free monthly event that provides storytime and other activities for children ages five and under.

The program takes place on the second Thursday of each month, with the upcoming session scheduled for July 9, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The interactive educational series features storytime, crafts, and songs for young attendees. Activities will be held at 3925 E Fort King Street within the shaded blockhouses, the Chickee, or the on site museum.

Organizers encourage participants to bring a snack and a blanket or chair for comfortable seating during the program.
