Barbara Jean Clayton born Nov 22,1961, was called to her Lord July 6th 2026 at 7:15 am age 64. Born in Franklin, Indiana she grew up in Aurora ,Illinois and graduated from Aurora East High. After graduation she entered the world of work spending years at Thom Mc An, and other jobs before she landed a job at Butler Schein Animal Health Supply as inside sales where she was often recognized as the top inside sale person.
Barb did not have an easy life but through it all she was an extremely hard worker with a heart of gold whose zest for life was contagious. She often volunteered to help others with gardening or household projects.
“Barb” passion for life included music, dancing, penguins, fishing, her motorcycle and her cats, Quincy, Rocky, Ivy Jean and Wrigley. But the Cubs were her team, rarely missing a game. Barb enjoyed all her Cubbies gear also loved decorating for holidays. She had a gift for repurposing items she found in garage sales or ones left by the street.
The last 3 years gave her the joy and love she so wanted when she met Irene Rushing and moved to Florida. With Irene, they married and Barb finally found all the joy, fun, happiness and love she deserved. But cancer had different plans..
Barbara was preceded in death by her dad and mom John and Barbara Molnar and sister Sherry Clayton, nieces Dianna and Julia Wissel, brother in law Dwight Wissel and nephew Danny Molnar. Barb leaves behind her beloved spouse , Irene, a life long friend, Liz Copeland, her sister, Chris and friends and family.
