Marion County Fire Rescue firefighters battled a structure fire in the Oak Run retirement community Friday night.
Units from the southwest portion of the county responded to the blaze at the 2,200-square-foot home. When firefighters arrived, smoke and flames pouring from the structure.
Engine 32 was the first unit to respond to the burning home, which is located off Hwy. 200 in southwest Ocala. Two other engines and a ladder truck also were called to help.
No injuries were report to either the residents of the home or firefighters. The fire remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s office.
