Golf cart stolen, guard shack security wires cut at 55+ community in Ocala

An 82-year-old woman’s golf cart was stolen from her home at a 55+ community in Ocala.

The golf cart was stolen sometime overnight on the Fourth of July from the woman’s home in Pine Run Estates. The woman had parked her golf cart in her carport and had it connected to a charger, according to an incident report from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.

The golf cart is blue with a white weather cover, has Krager hubcaps and a Ford Mustang Emblem on the front. The seat was covered with lamb-style upholstery.

It was also discovered that wires to a security camera in the community’s guard shack had been cut.
