Woman’s Mercedes stolen from Fairfield Village in Ocala

A woman’s Mercedes-Benz was reportedly stolen from Fairfield Village in Ocala.

A Marion County sheriff’s deputy responded to a home in Fairfield Village in reference to a stolen 2007 Mercedes-Benz, according to an incident report. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the victim who advised that on Monday, she arrived home at around 8 p.m. from visiting her father at the hospital. She locked her vehicle and went inside her residence. The next day at 6:27 a.m., she walked outside to her carport so that she could leave for work and noticed that her two-door, silver 2007 Mercedes was gone. She does not know who stole her vehicle and told the deputy she locked her car before she went inside her home the night before, the report stated.

She advised that no other person has access to her vehicle except her. She purchased the vehicle four years ago for $26,000 from the Mazda Jenkins on Hwy. 200 in Ocala. After looking up the vehicle online, the deputy estimated the value of the vehicle to be $15,000 to date.
