Patricia Ann Pettay Moses passed away peacefully Thursday, May 24, 2018, at the Diane and Ted Brandley Hospice House in Summerfield, FL.
She was born December 10, 1924 in Sarahsville, Ohio and lived there until she married and moved to Anthony, Florida where she was a homemaker. After the untimely death of her husband Gleason, she moved to Ocala where she met Joe Moses. Upon marrying they had twin boys and raised their combined family and lived on SE 5th Street since 1956. Her passion in life was caring for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe, her daughter Joann Adelberger, and her grandson Joseph Patrick Moses, and was survived by her remaining children Nancy Moses Hart – Ocala, Terry Buckey (Patricia)- Alabaster, AL, Patrick (Lisa)- Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, and Joseph (Teresa)- Ocala.
Also survived by grandchildren Shelby Kelly (Chris), Kristin Moses, Eric Moses, and Lacey Moses and two great grandchildren, Benjamin and Grace Kelly.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10:00 am at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her name to Hospice of Marion County
