Marion County Sheriff’s deputies found a man dead Saturday afternoon after responding to a shooting call in Summerfield.
The sheriff’s office’s Major Crimes detectives are still investigating the incident, which took place in the 5400 block of SE 145th Street shortly before 1 p.m.
The identify of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, a sheriff’s office report states.
