Harley Strickland, Jr., 92, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed peacefully December 2, 2018. Born in Jacksonville, FL, he served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. After retiring fro Western Electric as an Electronics Instructor in Miami, he moved to Ocala.
He was an avid electronic and computer programmer.
Harley was predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Shirley and his cherished son, David. He leaves behind his daughter, Marcia (Ed) Williams and his son, Gary (Darlene) Strickland, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 @ 10am at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, Ocala, FL. Arrangements are under the artful care of Roberts Funeral Home, Bruce West Chapel, Ocala, FL.
