Citra woman with extensive criminal history jailed for missing court date

Kathryne Mimi-Ann Gregory

A Citra woman with a lengthy criminal record was arrested last week after failing to appear in court for a pretrial conference.

Kathryne Mimi-Ann Gregory, 31, who lives at 18701 NE 24th Ave. in Citra, was arrested this past Thursday near the intersection of NE Hwy. 315 and NE Hwy. 316. She was transported to the Marion County Jail and charged with failure to appear on previous charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription (heroin) and possession of marijuana not more than 20 grams. She is being held with no bond and is due to appear in a Marion County courtroom on March 5 at 9 a.m. to answer to the charges.

Gregory is no stranger to the Marion County legal system, having been held in the jail 10 times since September 2009. In that time, she’s faced a multitude of grand theft, retail theft, forgery, drugs and weapons charges.
