Marion sheriff asks for help in nabbing big-screen TV bandit

Marion County sheriff’s deputies are seeking help in nabbing a bandit who attempted to steal a big-screen television from an Ocala Wal-Mart.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help in locating the man pictured above, who walked out of the Wal-Mart on Hwy. 200 with a big-screen television and then fled from the parking lot after being confronted by an employee.

The man, pictured above, walked out of the Wal-Mart, located at 9570 Hwy. 200, with the TV in his cart. He was then confronted by a store employee so he left the TV behind and fled the parking lot in a lime-green Scion utility-style vehicle, a sheriff’s office report states.
