The tattoo fest, which took place on Saturday, October 19, at the popular tattoo shop (500 SW 10th St, Ste. 103), was a fundraiser to benefit Brandon “Ziggy” Ziegler, who has been facing health issues in recent months.

The event raised over $3,200, and a GoFundMe created earlier this year by Crawling Panther Tattoo to benefit Ziggy has already generated an additional $8,000 as of this story.

The event featured a variety of vendors and a selection of tattoo designs made especially for the event, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Ziegler.

A variety of custom tattoos made for the event were doled out during the festival.

Ziegler, who previously worked at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and celebrated his 40th birthday earlier this spring, has been maintaining a “Save Ziggy” Facebook page with health updates in recent weeks.

Multiple local businesses joined Crawling Panther Tattoo on the effort to support Ziegler, including Death or Glory Tattoo Parlor, The Krafty Kettle, The Mojo Grill, and The Keep Downtown, among others.
