Man arrested after hurling game controller through window and tangling with gal pal

Christopher C. Kramer

A man found himself behind bars early Monday morning after tossing a video game controller through a window and having a nasty battle with his gal pal.

The victim told Marion County sheriff’s deputies that she had been in a physical altercation with her live-in man friend, 35-year-old Christopher C. Kramer. She said the fight started at the back door after she locked him out of their residence, a sheriff’s office report states.

During the melee, the woman claimed Kramer struck her left ear with a closed fist, which left a red mark. She said she then kicked Kramer with her shin to keep him from coming at her, the report says.

Kramer refused to speak to deputies about the altercation. He was then arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail, where he was charged with battery. He was being held on $1,000 bond and is due in court Nov. 27 at 1 p.m. to answer to the charge.
