Ocala man behind bars after being nabbed on outstanding Lake County warrant

Nathan Everette Pierson

An Ocala man who was wanted on an outstanding Lake County warrant is behind bars in the Marion County Jail.

Nathan Everette Pierson, 25, was arrested late Thursday afternoon at his residence at 1111 NW 57th Ave. He was transported to the Marion County Jail and charged with the outstanding warrant for possession of a firearm.

Pierson is no stranger to the Marion County legal system, having been arrested seven times since May 2015 – four times in 2017 alone, including after he allegedly damaged a vehicle with a machete.

During those arrests, he’s faced charges – some more than once – of obstruction, petit theft, criminal mischief, violating probation on a criminal mischief charge and multiple petit theft charges, and failure to appear in court on charges of retail petit theft and criminal mischief.
