Portions of KP Hole and Horseshoe Lake parks reopening Saturday

Portions of two highly popular parks – KP Hole and Horseshoe Lake – will welcome guests Saturday as part of Marion County’s phased reopening plan.

Park guests are reminded to follow guidelines provided by health officials, including maintain social distancing and limiting groups to less than 10 people.

Here are the planned openings:

KP Hole Park (boat ramp only)
Easy access for divers and paddlers to Blue Run and the Rainbow Springs headsprings.
Boat ramp use permitted for private and commercial boaters, divers and paddle craft operators.
Tubing is not yet permitted.

Horseshoe Lake Park & Retreat (day use only)
Includes the swim beach, restrooms, picnic areas, pavilion, hiking trails, horseshoe game areas and fishing spots.
Cabin rentals are not yet permitted.
