A Dunnellon man was jailed recently after going on a rampage at a Marion County residence.
Deputies say 34-year-old Jonathan Glen Browning “became paranoid due to drug usage and began smashing various items at the residence.” Browning then fled on foot prior to deputies arriving at the residence, a sheriff’s office report states.
A couple of days later, Browning returned and was found inside hiding inside the residence. He was then taken into custody and transported to the Marion County Jail.
Browning was charged with criminal mischief. He was being held on $500 bond and is due in court Sept. 23 at 1 p.m. to answer to the charge.
