Mary Ann Piner , June 29, 1944 – November 21, 2020, was born to the late Leroy Mitchell, Sr. and Mary Davis Mitchell in Ocala, Florida.

She was educated in the Marion County Public School System. She transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, November 21,2020.

Mary participated in the State/County Retirement System with employment at Marion County Juvenile Center and Marion County Public School System, as a bus driver and Reddick Collier Elementary School Teacher over a combined 20 years.

She had a love for children, which was displayed by her employment and involvement in all of her grandchildren’s lives. She was also a certified cook in all areas of food preparation and was famous for her cheesecake, pecan and pumpkin pies. She was a huge fan of professional wrestling since the 70’s and brought joy to the family during the TV and live shows with her enthusiasm.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three sons: Lemorne Piner, Jr.(Laura), Lance Piner (Gavae) and Michael Piner: daughter, Michele Piner, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two brothers: Leroy Mitchell, Jr. and Randy Mitchell (Sabine): sister, Penny Follins, sister-in-law: Queen Mitchell, and a host of close and loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
