A living historian will conduct a special demonstration at the Fort King National Historic Landmark later this month.
Jeremy DeBary, a certified educator, historian, reenact, and backpacking guide, will conduct the demonstration at the park on Saturday, May 22, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The demonstration is free to attend and will take place inside the fort, which is located at 3925 E Fort King Street.
The Fort King National Historic Landmark is open seven days a week from sunrise to sunset (or 7 p.m.). The visitor center is now open on a limited basis on Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
