To the Editor:
Thank you for your years of service in the Ocala National Forest, and thanks for your concern, but most people out here will agree that we don’t need you speaking for us. I know your intentions were honorable, but those of us buying homes out here do so because we like it out here. If a person can’t be satisfied with shopping at Winn Dixie, going to the doctors and optometrist out here, or they don’t like our barber, they can drive to town. This should have been a consideration before they moved out here. Why are you suggesting that businesses tear down the forest and build what we don’t want out here? We moved out here to get away from all that.
