The Salvation Army of Ocala is currently accepting sealed bid donations for the sale of its box truck.
The organization made the announcement through social media last week. According to the post, Salvation Army of Ocala will accept bids sealed bids through Monday, August 16, 2021.
The truck was used by Ryder moving services for several years before the Salvation Army began using it in 2002.
The non-profit says the vehicle has 97,623 miles, and is in need of repairs to its brake system. The minimum bid is $1,000, according to the social media post.
To view the vehicle, visit 320 NW 1st Avenue. The vehicle is parked along the side closest to NW 5th Street.
