National chains offering free Veterans’ Day meals in Ocala, Marion County

Multiple restaurants in Ocala and Marion County will serve up free meals to active-duty military personnel and veterans in honor of Veterans’ Day (Thursday, November 11).
McDonald’s and Wendy’s will offer free breakfast to all active-duty military and veterans. Starbucks will offer a free, 12-ounce, hot brewed coffee, and Wawa will also offer a free cup of coffee.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers will offer a free Freddy’s Original Double combo meal voucher that can be used through the end of the month.
Little Caesar’s offers a free lunch combo, which includes slices of pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi product.
Hooters is offering a free meal from a select menu with the purchase of a beverage. WingHouse also has a select menu for free meals, but no purchase is required.
Beef ‘O’ Brady’s says Veterans eat free with the purchase of equal or greater value up to $10. Proof of service is required.
Sonny’s provides a free, pork big deal in honor of Veterans’ Day.
Dunkin’ Donuts offers a free donut with no purchase necessary, and Panera offers a complimentary You Pick Two meal, including a combination of any two half portions soup, salad, sandwiches, flatbreads, or mac and cheese.
Denny’s offers a free “build your own Grand Slam” breakfast combination, and IHOP offers a free, red, white, and blue pancake combo. Similarly, Breakfast Station, which opened the doors on its new Ocala location this fall, is offering free breakfast with the purchase of a beverage.
Texas Roadhouse will provide military members and veterans a meal voucher to redeem for an entree, two sides, and a non-alcoholic beverage.
Applebee’s, Olive Garden, and Chili’s all offer free, full-size entrees from a select menu to all active military, veterans, Reserves and National Guard. At Applebee’s, guests also receive a $5 bounce back card to redeem for dine-in, To Go or delivery within three weeks, according to the company’s national website.
Red Lobster and LongHorn Steakhouse offer a free appetizer or dessert to all active-duty military personnel and veterans.
At Outback Steakhouse, veterans can receive a free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage, as well as a 10% discount for items purchased with a valid military ID.
Miller’s Ale House offers 50% off an entree for all veterans and military members with proof of service.
