William David Hopper, 74, passed away peacefully at home on April 20, 2022 in Citra, FL. He was born on February 22, 1948 to William Jackson Hopper and Virginia Epperson Hopper. He was a truck driver and served in the United States Army.
He was a loving, hard working husband, father, brother and Papaw. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, William J. Hopper; mother, Virginia Epperson Hopper; daughter, Sheila Marie Hopper and brother, Doug Hopper.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Worley Hopper; sons, Paul David Padgett (Felicia), James Earl Hopper (Ashley), William Jeffrey Hopper (Abrianna) and Chance Jarrett; daughters, Ashley Nicole Klinger (Nick) and Connie Lynn Tolbert; brother, Dean Hopper; sisters, Carol Nuzzi (Tom) and Dana Hopper (Doug); grandchildren, Nathan Paul Padgett, Tyler Seth Padgett, C.J. Padgett, Victoria Ann Padgett, Kelyn Michelle Shupa, Alex Jay Hopper, Isabella Sofia Gross, William Joseph Hopper, Cora Jo Hopper and Nicky Klinger Jr.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date at home followed by a family fishing trip.
