There is still time to sign up for the Marion County Parks and Recreation Department’s upcoming archery workshop, which will take place this Saturday, December 10 at the Silver Springs Archery Range.
The workshop will kick off at 8 a.m. with a two-hour session for adults (ages 18 and up), and a separate session geared towards younger participants (ages 9 to 17) will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Each participant will learn the finer points of archery through a variety of games and activities. The lessons will cover archery safety, equipment instruction, proper shooting form, and shooting etiquette.
Spots are still available for the adult (ages 18 and up) and youth (ages 9 to 17) workshop sessions on December 10, and there is a cost of $20 per participant.
