Two men wanted for committing fraud at Walmart in Ocala

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify two men who are wanted for committing fraud at a Walmart in Ocala.

On Tuesday, February 21 and Wednesday, February 22, the two male suspects (pictured below) traveled to the Walmart located at 9570 SW Highway 200 in Ocala. Once inside the store, they proceeded to place 50-cent price tags on multiple items and then scanned those items at a self-checkout register, according to MCSO.

The sheriff’s office stated in a social media post that the two suspects returned to the Walmart store on Thursday, February 23, and they allegedly attempted to conduct the same fraudulent transaction involving the 50-cent price tags.

A store employee noticed the items were not scanning at the correct price, and the employee approached the two suspects at the self-checkout register. After being confronted, the suspects left the items at the register and exited the store. MCSO believes that they are traveling in a 2015 to 2019 black Dodge Challenger (pictured below).
