Marion County hosting annual Easter Egg Hunt at Forest Community Center

The Marion County Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Color Me Egg-Cited egg hunt is returning to the Forest Community Center this weekend.

On Saturday, April 8, from 10 a.m. to noon, the festive event will take place at the Forest Community Center located at 777 S Highway 314A in Ocklawaha.

An Easter egg hunt for children ages 3 to 6 will begin at 10:30 a.m., and a separate egg hunt for kids ages 7 to 10 will follow at 11 a.m. The event will also include egg coloring, games, activities, snacks, and an opportunity to take photos with a special bunny.

Registration is open to children ages 3 to 10. There is a cost of $5 per child to pre-register for the event, and that cost will increase to $10 on Saturday.
