John Enright Williams II

John Enright Williams II, 66, of Weirsdale, Florida passed away after a brief illness from pancreatic cancer.

John was born January 12, 1957 in Wilmington, Ohio, the son of Earl F. Williams and Janet L. (Spurgeon) Williams Stimson. John attended Wilmington Schools until his family moved to Leesburg, Florida in 1973. He graduated from Leesburg High School in 1975 and began his career in construction work. John moved back to Ohio for several years then returned to Florida where he met and married Cynthia DiGiorgi in 1989. Together they made their home on a beautiful hilltop in Weirsdale. John was a talented finish carpenter and worked throughout Central Florida until he retired. John stayed busy in retirement by working on projects at home and for friends and going on short road trips with long-time friend, Gary Evans. John especially enjoyed traveling to Ohio to see his grandchildren play sports and visit with family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Cynthia, John is survived by his family in Ohio, daughter Amber Williams (Tyler Jenks), sisters Jennifer Williams, Natalie Williams, and Beverly Williams Pavone, grandchildren Madison, Ryker, and Axel Courson, Baby Boy Jenks due in August, nephew Levi Blackburn, and nieces Amanda Bradford (Jerry) and Taylor Newell. He was preceded in death by his parents.

No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. Friends and loved ones will be notified of a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
