To the Editor:
I’m a native Ocala/Marion County lady born in 1944. I remember when Ocala was just the downtown square and an awesome place to live, grow, and raise your kids. Now with the growth and development, the county can’t keep up with road repair, traffic is horrible, there are not enough law enforcement officers on the road, etc. What are our commissioners trying to do, turn us into a mini Orlando? Is it all about money and greed? It’s sad that we have lost our small town atmosphere. Enough is enough.
