A luxury apartment complex in Ocala celebrated its grand opening in recent weeks, joining several other apartment complexes that have opened this summer.
Residents began moving into The Grove at Ocala in mid-August. Located on 36 acres near the Ocala Veterans Affairs Clinic at 5697 SW 49th Road, the new complex features 329 apartments with a mix of 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom units.
In addition to the apartments, amenities at the new complex include a clubhouse, two Pickleball courts, two bocce ball courts, a pool, a yoga room, a picnic area, and eight detached garages that each have space for 10 vehicles.
Apartments are equipped with gourmet kitchens, granite countertops, tile backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, and designer finishes.
Owned by Easlan Capital of Atlanta, the complex was designed by architect Nelson Worldwide, and it was built by FaverGray.
Rental rates at The Grove begin at $1,495 for a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom, 661-square-foot unit. A 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 1,372-square-foot apartment starts at $1,960.
The Grove at Ocala joins multiple other apartment complexes that have opened in Ocala over the past month.
That includes the Retreat at 42nd, a 268-unit luxury apartment complex that features 1, 2, and 3-bedroom floor plans, as well as duplexes.
Aurora St. Leon Apartment Homes officially opened across from the Ocala Wetland Recharge Park last month as well, replacing the Pine Oaks Golf Course that closed to the public in April 2019.
Last year, Pointe Grand opened at 3435 SW 20th Street, across from the College of Central Florida campus.
