A new 268-unit luxury apartment complex that features stainless-steel appliances and granite countertops has opened for business near the intersection of Interstate 75 and SW Highway 200.
Retreat at 42nd held its official grand opening on Saturday, August 19. The new luxury apartment complex is located at 3491 SW 42nd Street, next door to AdviniaCare at Paddock Ridge.
The pet-friendly complex features a collection of 1, 2, and 3-bedroom floor plans, as well as duplexes. Units are outfitted with hardwood-inspired flooring, stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, and custom-built cabinets.
The bathrooms in each unit come equipped with garden tubs and walk-in showers, and each unit features walk-in closets and laundry rooms with washer and dyer connections.
The community features multiple amenities including a saltwater pool, a sundeck, a private bark park, a clubhouse, a business center, and a fitness center, among others.
Rental prices begin at $1,675 for a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit, with prices for 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom units starting at $1,885. Prices for 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom units start at $2,100, and prices for duplexes, which are the complex’s largest units, start at $2,600.
Retreat at 42nd joins a growing list of residential developments in various stages of construction in Ocala.
That includes Aurora St. Leon Apartment Homes, which officially opened for business earlier this month across from the Ocala Wetland Recharge Park. That complex replaced Pine Oaks Golf Course, which closed to the public in April 2019.
It also includes Pointe Grand Apartments, which opened at 3435 SW 20th Street across from the College of Central Florida campus within the past year.
