Ocala firefighters responded to a local apartment complex on Tuesday afternoon after receiving reports of a structure fire.
Shortly after 3:50 p.m., Ocala Fire Rescue units arrived at Saddleworth Green Apartments located at 2901 SW 1st Street, according to OFR.
Firefighters quickly located the fire on the porch of a first-floor apartment, and they immediately began combating the flames.
The apartment’s porch was heavily damaged by the fire. No further details were provided regarding the cause of the blaze, though Ocala Fire Rescue stated that it began on the porch.
There were no injuries reported.
The Ocala Police Department also responded.
