New art exhibit in Ocala explores mental health

A new art exhibit, “Celebrating Resiliency: An Exploration of Mental Health,” is now open at the Mary Sue Rich Community Center at Reed Place in Ocala.

The group exhibit features the works of Arts4All Florida’s member artists. A nonprofit organization, Arts4All Florida provides, supports, and champions arts education and cultural experiences for and by people with disabilities.

The exhibit is free and open to the public on Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Mary Sue Rich Community Center (1821 NW 21st Avenue). It will remain on display through June 27, and some artworks will be available for purchase.

In addition to exhibitions, Arts4All Florida promotes the accomplishments of artists with disabilities through their artist registry and performances while providing access to the arts through professional learning workshops and programming. Their vision is to “create a world in which the arts are universally accessible.”
