Henry L. Kurtz

Henry “Hank” Kurtz, 87, of Ocala, FL, passed away on January 25, 2024. Hank was born on June 10, 1936 in Chicago, IL, to his loving parents; Samuel and Bertha (Lotka) Kurtz.
In 1950, Hank and his family moved to Miami, Florida from Illinois. Hank always loved music. Growing up in Miami he played Coronet in the high school band. He also had a great record collection and was a DJ at local dance parties.
He retired from the United States Postal Service after many years of dedication. 25 years ago, he moved to Ocala. In his free time, Hank enjoyed bingo calling at the Senior Center in Ocala. He was a very social man and loved music, dancing, and karaoke. He loved Rocky and the Rollers at the Squares in The Villages. Hank was known for being such a friendly and happy man, he always wanted to help other people and of course flirted with all the girls! Hank will be missed!
Hank is survived by his sons; Scott and Bradley, as well as a brother, Marty and three grandchildren: Jack, Jillian, and Joshua.
Hank is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Judy.
