According to the parks and recreation department, the tournament is for pickleball players with a skill level between 3.0 and 4.5.

To determine seeding for the single-elimination tournament, the competition will begin with a preliminary round robin (pool play). Matches will be the best two out of three with 11-point games, and teams must win each game by a margin of at least two points.

The event is open to adults (ages 20 and up), and the cost to register is $60 per team. A t-shirt is included with registration, and snacks and refreshments will be available for registered players while supplies last.

Prizes will be awarded to the teams that finish in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
