Waffle House is planning to open a new restaurant in southwest Ocala, which will be the franchise’s sixth location in the city.
The diner chain has placed an “open soon” sign at a site along State Road 200, just south of SW 90th Street.
The new restaurant will be situated near the second Tidal Wave Auto Spa in Ocala, which celebrated its grand opening last month.
Waffle House’s new location in southwest Ocala will mark the company’s third new restaurant in Ocala in the past five years.
In October 2022, Waffle House opened its fifth location in the city along SW College Road/SR 200. In September 2020, Waffle House opened a location along Maricamp Road.
Since 2020, the company has effectively doubled its number of locations in the city. Waffle House now operates the following stores in Ocala:
